Page Turners

Page Turners is a book club for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students at Lewis and Clark School in Liberty, Missouri. Our 2nd grade students have been invited to join us beginning March 18th. We are a group of kids and teachers who love to read. We meet every Wednesday morning and most of the time we simply read...what a concept. No book reports or dioramas here:). Sometimes we blog, talk about the books we are reading, recommend great books, but mostly we just get comfy and read. We enjoy books, newspapers, comic books, graphic novels, magazines, and anything else we desire.

I love page turners because some kids dont get to read at home because they get disracted and Page turners lets you come early and READ without and distractions and sometimes you can go to book blog and chat to other kids about the AWESOME book you are reading and encourage them to read that book as well. I am so gald I do page turners. I hope they have something like that in middle school!

On the other hand, I am also going full speed in the library as well.  We are ending the year by wrapping up Genius Hour projects, art bots, creating books on topics we are passionate about, introducing next year's Missouri award books, and getting summer reading off the ground so our LC kiddos keep on reading!  Several of us are also totally reva
