What is your favorite series of books and why?

My favorite series are The 39 Clues. They're actually written by different authors and the first is by Rick Riordan and the others I don't know. I reccomend the series to a lot of students.

My favorite series are the Twilight Series books, because I love Stephanie Meyer's books. They're really good page-turners! I recommend the Twilight series for 5th grade and up.

My favorite series of books are the Harry Potter series because there's magic, action, and adventure all combined in many very thick books. I reccomend this series to many Lewis and Clark students.

My favorite series is Warriors because every page has somthing amazing or somthing that is unexpecting. I also love the awsome word chioce.

My favorite series is Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan. This action packed series keeps the reader on it with a one, two punch every few minutes. I really like this book because Rick Riordan makes his books feel like you are in there with Percy and the gang fighting Kronos with Riptide, Have fun!!!!!!!

My favorite series of books are Andrew Clemets books. So far I read Lunch Money. I'm in the middle of The last Holiday Consert. So far it is great! After I get done with it I'm going to read The School Story.

My favorite series is the new one ...... Sisters 8!They are really good books and so unexpected stuff happens! I highly recomend this series!!!!!! 5 star rating!!!!!!!!!

My favorite series is the Beyond The the SpiderWick chronicles. Written by Holly black. It is a fun and adventurous.

I like The 39 Clues series because they are really good mysteries and you can try and solve them online, and I think it's cool that all the books (10 books)are by different authors the 1st one is by Rick Riordan and the others I don't know but they are going to come out with a 3rd book!!

I personally like The Mysterious Benedict Society. It's my 2nd favorite series. They are packed with a ton of adventure and fun challenges for the 4 kids to solve, Kate, Reynie, Sticky, and Constance.

My favorite series are the Nancy Drew mysteries by Carolyn Keene because mysteries are so fun to try to figure out and wonder what happens next! :)

My Last Post!

This will be my last post as a teacher-librarian for Liberty Public Schools.  After 30 years of teaching, I will be retiring at the end of this school year.  I will continue teaching next year at Kansas City International Academy.  I will totally be switching roles and can't wait to help middle school students work on their reading skills.  I have already started immersing myself in middle school reading by viewing webinars, rereading several books on the topics of reading and literacy ( The Cafe Book and The Daily 5 ),  and reading several new books that will help me manage the structure necessary for successful guided reading. On the other hand, I am also going full speed in the library as well.  We are ending the year by wrapping up Genius Hour projects, art bots, creating books on topics we are passionate about, introducing next year's Missouri award books, and getting summer reading off the ground so our LC kiddos keep on reading!  Several of us are also totally reva
