Hey, LC third graders...

I think everyone should read Deep and Dark and Dangerous.It is a great book and it is a ghost story.

I recommend the book Granny Torelli
makes Soup it's about Rosy and her friend Bailey and their fights and
adventures read this book you'll love it just like i did.

THE HONEST TO GOODNESS TRUTH.
It is about a girl that lied and
promised not to lie agin. But when she tells alittle to much she gets ignored.

the 39 Clues a real
mystery!

I think you shoud read Nancy Drew books because Nancy Drew has an adventure in every book.

I think that third graders should read Shelter Dogs. It is about eight dogs. In the book you'll see how? why? and where? did they go to the shealter

I think Franny K. Stein books are my favorite. It's about a girl who is a mad scientist with all weird creatures and other cool stuff. So you better go drow to the libary to get it.

I think all LC third graders should read Bunnicula. It's a great lititure book. There's a whole series if you like the first one. Found at the LC library.

My Last Post!

This will be my last post as a teacher-librarian for Liberty Public Schools.  After 30 years of teaching, I will be retiring at the end of this school year.  I will continue teaching next year at Kansas City International Academy.  I will totally be switching roles and can't wait to help middle school students work on their reading skills.  I have already started immersing myself in middle school reading by viewing webinars, rereading several books on the topics of reading and literacy ( The Cafe Book and The Daily 5 ),  and reading several new books that will help me manage the structure necessary for successful guided reading. On the other hand, I am also going full speed in the library as well.  We are ending the year by wrapping up Genius Hour projects, art bots, creating books on topics we are passionate about, introducing next year's Missouri award books, and getting summer reading off the ground so our LC kiddos keep on reading!  Several of us are also totally reva
